Job posting- Technical Writer

Does the thought of another 96 well plate or Western Blot send you reeling?

But you don’t want to waste your knowledge and experience of working in the life science or healthcare industries?

How about writing? Articles, ads, brochures, blogs, scripts, press releases, social media posts…covering all scientific and healthcare disciplines.

We’re a scientific marketing agency based in Cambridgeshire looking for an outgoing, highly literate candidate to join our team. You don’t need to have writing experience, just a good scientific brain, an interest in marketing and bags of enthusiasm.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and writing various types of marketing material. This candidate will have a good scientific degree (minimum 2:1) and strong written and verbal communication skills. Fluency in any additional languages are a distinct advantage as many of our clients are based overseas. This individual can expect to conduct interviews with fellow scientists to develop content for written material and attend client meetings.

The role does not have to be office-based.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience in the technology/healthcare/life science industry
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to understand highly technical information

If you’re interested, please email Annabel Sedgwick directly with a copy of your CV attached and a covering letter telling her why writing for a scientific marketing agency is a great next career move for you: [email protected]
